English tuition for all ages and abilities
Who Am I?
My name is Beth Lytton-Heather and I have been teaching English in the Cheltenham area since 1990. Between 1990 and 2015 I taught in three schools locally both full and part-time to all secondary ages.
In 2007 I gained a diploma in Specific Learning Difficulties (recognised by the British Dyslexia Association) from the University of Gloucestershire.
My specialisms are A Level English Language, A Level English Language and Literature, GCSE English Language and Literature and dyslexia tuition.
Looking forward to returning to face-to-face teaching from 17th May, when, it is expected, rules are to be changed to allow people to visit one another inside their homes.
"English has always been a challenging subject for my son due to his dyslexic profile. Beth focused on the areas he needed support in and gave him encouragement so that he went into his GCSE exam with confidence."
-Ms M, July 2018
"I would definitely recommend Beth as an English tutor. Our son always enjoys his lessons and has come on in leaps and bounds since he started with her."
-Miss C, August 2018
New Resources Added
As part of revamping the website, several more useful resources have been added. You can now find a number of articles on the "Resources" page, and A-Level past papers for AQA English Language, Edexcel English Language, and Edexcel Lang / Lit have also been added to the "Past Papers" page.
Arcademics Challenge Winner!
Congratulations to India, this year's winner of the Christmas Arcademics Challenge!
We are currently in the process of streamlining and updating our website. This will make it easier to navigate and also mean that a lot more useful resources will be available for students to access. For now, we have added GCSE English Literature past paper questions for Edexcel, AQA and Eduqas exam boards, but we plan to add more great content over the next few weeks and months. Watch this space!
